- Chiltern's franchise has ended and has been replaced by a 6-year Direct Award to Chiltern from the Department for Transport.
- Work at Warwick railway station to install lifts, initially at a cost of £6.8 million, has been suspended due to the unexpected discovery of earlier station building foundations, a revised finish date has not been announced and will take a year to do and with a likely cost increase
