URGENT - TICKET OFFICE CONSULTATION JULY 2023

Train operators have proposed changes to the majority of rail station ticket offices in England; this could lead to the closure of almost all existing Ticket Offices. Instead, Train Operators are proposing to bring staff out from offices to be much more visible to customers.

SALRUA has identified a number of issues with these proposals and will be making a detailed submission highlighting these concerns.

We urge all rail users to review the proposals and make their own responses if they have concerns:

All feedback must be received by Transport Focus by Wednesday 26 July.
